S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Vanessa Mulcare for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Giving (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know what it is, personally, to have needed desperate provision and yet experienced all my needs, from tangible things to Spiritual things be provided for, by God’s incredible love and grace. I, therefore, am compelled to help others with what God has blessed me with as much as I can. Even now, after coming from a place of having enough, I have seen and believe that it is better to give than to receive. I want to pour out that same love that God showed to me in my time of need, to others who may be in the same positions I was in, or perhaps, in need of help but don’t know where or who to go to. That’s why when I freely give, I always hope it is in line with a prayer that someone may have been asking for and that I have the obedience, discernment and ears to hear when God says to give and without hesitation or reluctance.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Hearing the word of God is where my own faith came and has been developing. I know how powerful and life-changing it is to share the Gospel with someone. I love and find it easy talking to others about Jesus Christ and what he has done for me and all the world and how this is available to everyone.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have had multiple instances in life so far (and sure many more to come) where I’ve been hurt, or hurt others and so after realising how deeply I am forgiven for all my sins, my default is to forgive others quickly and where possible seek peace and reconciliation.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I started searching for God after living life and seeing around me more often than not a different kind of Christianity that God presents in his word. I was dissatisfied, tired and lost in pretending to enjoy what the world offers. A lot of hurt, pain and shame was being covered up by sin in my life. So, after many wrong choices, turns and a long time of battling with giving my life fully to God, I was brought by his grace into seeing the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my eyes were opened, I repented and believed and let go of all my old ways etc. I got baptised in December 2015 and committed my life to the one who died for me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

St Edwards Church, Romford – Youth/ Outreach worker to Young people involved in Gangs and knife crime.

Assistant youth leader to Church youth group/bible study group

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being able to travel to many places for work including Israel, opened up my eyes to new people and their backgrounds and developed my love to connect with people from all walks of life

Being accepted for Jobs that I most of the time wasn’t qualified for but those who chose me believed in me and the potential I had to succeed

Climbing the Yorkshire Three peaks mountains in 2018. Taught me a lot about perseverance, resilience and never giving up even when you think you’ve had enough.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Experiencing the loss of loved ones, through death or other means, has given me the strength and empathy to encourage others and a greater dependency on God

The breakdown of some important relationships opened up the door for my complete healing and wholeness to come in and for me to know how to love others and be loved in a deeper more sacrificial way

Becoming the primary caregiver in my home at a young age was scary and stressful but it led me again to fully depend on God and experience first hand what it means for Him to be my deliverer, comforter and Father amongst other things and also allowed for a difficult and dysfunctional family relationship to be repaired and restored.
