#1 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I understand that we are all imperfect human and that God’s grace is very powerful. I am not so important that I can judge others. We are commanded to love and that includes showing mercy.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a christian slowly. It was through struggles and trials combined with several people put into my life to support and guide me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Learning who I am and that I do not have to conform to society

The birth of my 3 children

An experience, in which I realized that I was someone people looked up to and wanted to be around. Something that I still doubt, but am trying to remember and live up to

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The struggle of an eating disorder for 15 years, culminating in the participation of a 6 month residential treatment program

Anxiety, depression, co dependence, and low self esteem in myself and mental illness in family members

A very challenging marriage on the brink of divorce and the overcoming of it.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Create a successful program for the awareness and overcoming of disordered eating, addiction, and eating disorders, that would give hope and change the lives of many. This would include recovery, relapse prevention, and the most importantly, prevention by working with children and adolescents.

4. Create a home and life in which people of all ages and circumstances feel welcome, safe, comfortable and important. In addition, I would love to be a person who makes each person I come in contact with feel Gods love through me, with the hope that they feel their self worth and importance.

5. My neighborhood and community feels very unconnected and I would love to bring people back together, having kids playing outside, knowing all your neighbors and being there for them. In relationship to this, I would love to create a group for kids to perform service activities in order to connect with each other, their community and to step outside of themselves
