Thank you Veronica Broverman for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience

Since then, have been an active member of first the Catholic Church for 16yrs, and then in leadership at a non-denominational church (Lifesong Church) for 14yrs.
Lifesong Church, Sutton, MA – member (kingdom builder, 14yrs); worship team (singer, 2yrs); Lifesong Kids (Infant Room volunteer, 5yrs, Room Capt, 3yrs, Volunteer Coordinator, 4yrs); Impressions (greeter, 2yrs); small group (leader, 5yrs)
St Peter’s Catholic Church- member 9yrs, choir member, 9yrs; Black Catholic Ministry- diocesan leader, 9yrs
St Paul’s Cathedral, Worcester, MA- member, 16yrs; 6th grade CCD teacher, 10yrs; special events greeter, 10yrs; Women’s Ministry- diocesan member 10yrs
Maternal grandmother’s example of caring for other people’s kids when others failed or were unavailable. Instilled the importance of the role of loving caregiver.
A TV character who was a strong female law enforcement officer. Was one of the prompters for me to go into that career.
Again, my maternal grandmother’s foreknowledge of people in my life who were not positive influences. Following her advice led me out of negative situations. Her wisdom has had a great on my choices.
Having had cancer and learning that so many others I know have been impacted has given me extra compassion for them to be able to understand and be a better help.
