Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I came to know the Lord Jesus as my Savior at age 7 at my grandmother’s Good News Club. He has been my friend and guide through many changes and moves. I love to study God’s word and learn more about Jesus.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Trinity Baptist Church, Portland OR. Youth Leader, 12965-66; Missions Team 1986-89.

Church at Rocky Peak, Chatsworth CA, Missions Team, taught Precept 1985

Northwest Bible Church, Tucson AZ 2007-13, Missions Team- administrative assistant

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The impact of ministry and missionaries in our home, travels and living in Germany and Guam, be a part of missionaries’ ministry where they served.

Attending Multnomah School of the Bible, meeting George, deciding together to serve with Wycliffe in support of Bible translation and translators these past 51 years.

The opportunity to live and learn in other cultures and languages, see God’s word impact a culture and that affect on the growth of the church.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Stressful relationship with my dad and our youngest son and family.

Church relationships with missionaries and ministries. The impact of changes in leadership on the commitment of the church to these and us personally.

The role of partnership in ministry and among our fellow colleagues in Wycliffe and other ministries.
