S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Victoria Whitsett for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

My mother started a daycare when I was 9, and I was able to watch her build a business from nothing. I worked with her and for her and it helped shape my work ethic and my “I can make anything happen” mentality.
College! Despite the many voices that were against it, I went and graduated. It propelled me forward and allowed me to open doors for my younger cousins and younger sister. It gave me the foundation to help start my professional career.
Moving to California! After leaving all I knew all I had was Christ. Moving here made me realize He is truly all we need. He yoked me here, made His will my desires, and renewed my heart.
My father was diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was very young, so I grew up without a father because he wasn’t mentally there. My father has chosen homelessness for over 10 years, and as his power of attorney I can legally make decisions on his behalf but he is happier when I let him do as he pleases. Because of him I have special place for people who suffer from mental illness and the homeless.
Due to my fathers illness he became abusive to my mother, which resulted in their divorce and her becoming a single parent of 5. My siblings and I had to grow up very fast so that we could take care of each other. My mother initially opened her daycare to assist single and teenage mothers.
I was kicked out of college for about a week at the end of my freshman year because I wasn’t unable to pay my bill. I was going to have to redo my entire second semester in college because fafsa said my mother could afford to make payments, however I was paying for my education. I made a deal with the bursar office to have it all paid before I came back to school the next school year if they allowed me to take my finals and finish the year. They agreed but because my bill wasn’t paid I couldn’t reserve housing so I had to find an apartment before I went home for the summer. During the summer I worked the graveyard shift at Ihop and 9-5pm at the local movie theater until my bill was paid. I was 19 and terrified at the thought of not pursuing my dreams.
