S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Violet Mills for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I had a rough upbringing and had to make a choice between going to college or staying on the streets doing not so good things. So, I decided to come to New Hope Christian College and had a lot of people that loved me and introduced me to God. I was not receptive at first but eventually started listening and was baptized in April of 2020 on Easter.
Westside Church, Eugene Oregon, 1 year
Coming to New Hope Christian College turned my life around and helped guide me in a positive way.
Participating in volleyball my entire life has helped me always have something that I love, even if people keep abandoning me.
Being introduced to friends that care for me and showing me that the way I was living was not right.
Becoming a prostitute has showed me that I never want to go back there again.
Becoming addicted to drugs has shaped me as a person as well.
Loosing people I thought were going to be in my life forever was heart breaking and I went through a bunch of suicide thoughts, but ended up overcoming them and becoming stronger.
