Thank you Mary Lou Cubit for taking the SHAPE Assessment. [H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Singing in the choir was one of my greatest joys of ministry but I’m beyond that now. Still enjoy worship time on Sunday morning.

2. Spending time with my family and grandchildren.

3. Spending time reading God’s word and other inspirational writings.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Feel most comfortable with people near my own age

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I am concerned that when we walk into the church on Sunday morning at between 8:30 and 9:00 am there is no one there to greet people. We don’t need it but if new people come it certainly is needed. I think we need more greeters of all ages and not the same ones all the time. It made a difference to my teenage granddaughter when Jackie Reif was greeting when she came to church with us.
I would think there could be a rotating schedule and it would help people to get to know others better. I’m thinking of people to meet and greet as soon as people walk through the door and not just when they are handed a bulletin.
