Thank you Candace Wiebe for taking the SHAPE Assessment. Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

When I was 16 God touched me through someone’s testimony. I had hidden away my emotions through years of sexual abuse and God broke through my barriers and opened up the floodgates of feelings. I could feel the pain I had kept walled away but I could also feel God’s love greater than anything else. Through Jesus, God has bridged the gap of sin and shame and made me his own and has pursued me and kept me from straying too far as a loving parent would a young child.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Women of Worth prison ministry, Christian Non-denominational, Lethbridge, AB
Ministry Team Member and Bible study leader, 2005-2011

Crossroads Clinic, Christian Non-denominational, Brooks, AB
Client Advocate/Crisis Worker and group co-leader, 2012-2015, 2017-2018

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Parenting

Working in prison ministry, sharing of myself to help others.

Camp, being encouraged in my creativity.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Counseling, discovering freedom in forgiveness.

Struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Discovering who I am after broken marriage.
