#1 Gift, Giving (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
The book of Deuteronomy has inspired my life. I like structure and rules and in the book of Deuteronomy God tells me His laws and how my life should be structured. God had blessed me with His love, my family, and my job. I once took it for granted and now that I have a relationship with God I make it a priority not to take Him for granted. God had taught me to help those in need because of the gifts he gives me everyday. I pray for those that do not know Christ hear His word and accept Him, this is the gift of giving that God gave me. It is important to Him and makes it important to me.

#2 Gift, Serving (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Again the book of Deuteronomy has inspired my life in serving.
A preacher had a sermon over giving and our duties of giving financially but then he also said if you can not give financially then you give serving. He went on explaining on how to serve in your church, missions, and community. So with all of this information of Gods’ expectation I will serve God to the best of my ability and knowledge that He asks of me.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God gave me a leadership gift. I am the leader at my job, but I am also a mentor. I love people! We the people make what happens in the world go around, yes God always has the finial say so and changes what He wants and when, but the way we talk, walk, and think has an influence to each other. I know I’m still learning Gods’ word everyday but I want His word out to everyone and the way I show the world Gods’ word is by demonstrating it everyday through the way I talk, walk, and think.
I have been the AWANA commander for my previous church. This was the scariest job God ever gave me but it was the best job He gave me just the same. I studied His lesson and drew closer to Him and the kids were just the bonus!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Well I thought I was saved when I was 14, but then July 17th 2019 Falls Creek happened. The evangelist was named Wade was there and he was asking us if we truly were saved. He went on talking about what it looks like to really be walking with God. I heard this sermon so many times but this was different the work “saved” meant something to me. I decided right there Jesus truly had my heart and life. We all went back home to give our testimony of Falls Creek and I had no clue what I was saying at the podium in front of my congregation. I was in tears spilling how God really got a hold of me and the next thing I knew Pastor Jason was asking me about baptism. I gave the Lord my obedience in following Him and sharing His word and will never go back to darkness!

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I had a boss that mentored me and never once left out the word of God every chance he had. He never was scared to let me know I was living wrong and would share the word on why I needed to change. With God and his help I became a successful manager.

My oldest daughter Haven. She would always tell me mom you should go to church with us. Looking at her and listening to what she learned and the love she has for God softened my heart and got me in His house. Now I love going to church, I’ve gained a second family.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My dad passing. Being the oldest of my sister and I, when my dad passed I felt the family was now my responsibility. My mom was a stay at home mom and ended up moving in with me. It was awful at first but God has explained to me and provided for all us He has made it work. For those that are single moms that get no help from anyone but the pay check you bring in and have several to feed and shelter, I understand. God has put my family and I in a spot where we help others now.

Drug abuse. My sister has had a past of drug abuse and is sober and clean now. It is an addiction and is tough for people. It doesn’t just hurt the one using but also the ones around you. I was my sisters’ tough love. We are closer now than ever!
