S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Londa Leftwich for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am a highly organized individual. One of my top strengths from my StrengthsFinders test was strategy, which works well when approaching projects.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am a social butterfly and have no problem striking up conversation with total strangers. I believe that the Lord has blessed me with such an extroverted personality so that I can go forth and share His goodness to people in a way that connects with them on a personal level.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Another gift of mine is empathy. I’ve always had a heart for people that are broken, addicted, or lost. When I’m around people that feel this way, I automatically assume the role of a nurturer.
[H]eart
1. Mentoring elementary, middle, and high school students from low socio-economic statuses.
2. I love learning.
3. I love empowering people and speaking God’s truth over them so they can be motivated to continue following the path God has laid out for them. I love helping people find their passion and helping them to operate in their sweet spot.
I love working with futuristic minded people who are optimistic and positive. My favorite age group would be late 30s to early 40s.
Church’s that operate in the mindset of “this is how it’s always been” scares me. I feel as though that places a limit on what God can do. Churches that don’t acknowledge the Holy Spirit make me cautious as well. I am excited about ministries that are birthed from a need that has been brought to the churches attention (i.e. 20s women group).

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I come from a family that has evangelists, pastors, and reverends in it. When I was younger (birth to around middle school) I remember attending several different churches with different denominations. We started at a Baptist church, then holiness, then Lutheran, then non-denominational, and then we didn’t go at all. From my perspective as an 8 year old child, I only saw and heard of the things you couldn’t do as a follower of Christ. Even though we had a family that has many people in ministry positions their lifestyles didn’t reflect that. They were getting drunk, participating in recreational drug use, getting divorced, being promiscuous, and the list goes on. I felt conflicted, so I stopped trying until I was 16 years old. My family went to church because it was what a good ‘ol southern family was “supposed to do”. It was basically just something that got checked off the list. On these rare Sundays we were typically always late by 30-45 minutes, my dad was always upset that we were going, and my mom was kind of numb to the whole experience. It didn’t really set the foundation for a great start to being a Christian. We arrived at my aunts church in Spencer, NC and I already knew what to expect. We’d talk about how Jesus was resurrected, we wound fellowship, people would kiss my cheeks, and then I would go home unchanged yet again. Well the story of Jesus’ resurrection hit me with a power and love that I never felt years prior. When my aunt was speaking about Jesus and what he endured I actually felt someone stirring something inside of me. It’s like my DNA got re-arranged. All I could do is cry. I accepted Jesus that day, but my personal walk with him didn’t start until 2013.
Elevation Church
Concord, NC (2013-2016)
-Connections (getting people connected to volunteer opportunities on campus)
-Welcome Team (praying with people who just accepted Christ and giving them a bible in the worship service)
-Middle School/ High School Leader
-Guest Experience Director (oversaw parking, greeters, welcome team, resources) I was responsible for 75 volunteers that were dispersed on A/B weeks.
Elevation Church
2K2 Apprentice (July 2016-December 2016)
This was a 22-week hands on ministry training apprenticeship that was focused on campus leadership.
Participating in the arts (piano, violin, contemporary dance)
Being able to lead teams at a young age and being empowered to make decisions. I had my first big girl job at 18 where I managed 12 employees and 2 stores while being a full-time college student.
Seeing my youngest sister Kayla go from being suicidal to getting baptized to now owning her faith and defending the truth of the Bible.
Getting academically dismissed from Queens University after my freshman year. I can’t remember most of what happened that year, but the best thing the Lord did for me was remove me from a place that wasn’t pushing me towards him. Now I mentor the girls in my program and help guide them towards educational pursuits that are best fitted for their gifts and talents.
Losing my job twice in my early 20s. I thought that this only happened to older people, but it happens to ANYONE. These two time periods have shown me that the only thing that is unfailing and never changing is God. I am now able to minister to people who are dealing with losing their job or are in a season of unemployment. I can share with them how God met me where I was and gave me peace amongst the bills that were piling up and the debt collectors that were calling.
In 2017, I dealt with Fibroids. I was told that I needed to get an emergency hysterectomy which would not allow me to ever carry my own children. As I’m in the ER losing blood, having a blood pressure reading of 70 over 40, I lost consciousness for the 2nd time. I remember waking up and seeing a blood transfusion on my right and an IV drip on my left. This was the scariest experience of my life because I didn’t know if I was going to have children, even though the Lord clearly showed me visions of the kids that I would have. I am now able to pray with people and help them find comfort in the midst of a scary diagnosis.
