#1 Gift, Mercy Showing (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel compassion towards people who have gotten themselves in certain situations. I don’t believe that everything is black and white and that everything isn’t as it seems. In this world it’s so easy to assume the worst and write people off. I don’t believe in that. I know a lot of situations that we are faced with are consequences of prior actions but I believe that we all need mercy and grace.

#2 Gift, Giving (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to give… God has put me in a position that I can give and personally it’s something I enjoy. I enjoy being a blessing to someone if it’s paying a bill or showing up with something that I know that they needed. It gives me great pleasure.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel that people need encouragement in al walks. I love to see people smile. I think that it’s important that people know that someone is thinking about them or cares about what they are going through.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I have always considered myself a Christian, I have always believed in god, but if I had to say When I truly gave my life to the lord it was May 2018. It was a very low point in my life. I lost my grandmother 2 years prior and I was barely surviving and I at the time was separated from my husband and I felt so unloved. One night I had a serious melt down and I remember feeling so unloved. I remember crying out to God that I didn’t have anyone that loved me. Instantly at that moment I felt this warm feeling in my body and it calmed me. I knew it was God it’s if he hugged me and told me that he loved me, I haven’t question being loved since that moment. I re dedicated my life and visited BBC for the 1st time that next Sunday

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Mt. Zion MB church in St. Pete Youth ministry 1991-2004 and Pleasant Grove as a youth

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having a grand mother that raised me and taught me that without God you have nothing. She always taught me to be a woman with a purpose. Her words…She made sure that every Sunday I was in church no matter the weather she constantly talked to me about the lord. At the time it was so frustrating. But she always said one day I would understand and there are no truer words. Now I do understand.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I wasn’t married when I gave birth the my oldest daughter. I felt like such an outcast from all of my friends and family. I had to drop out of college and it was just a humiliating time. My friends were traveling and being young and I was home with a baby. I learned that life is what you make it and I went back to school and I turned things around.

My divorce from my 1st husband it was devastating I was left with 2 daughters to raise by myself. Again I decided I could let it break me or I could rise from it.

I think it would be not bring up my children in the church. I let life get in the way of me giving them the proper foundation. A foundation that I was given
