Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

A preacher and his family moved next door to me and took a loving investment on me. I started going to their church to teach my kids about God. The rest is history

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Church of Christ in kenfville NS
Teach babies and preschool
10 years

Pathways St. John’s NL
Teach preschool
2 years

West End Baptist st John’s NL
Teaching grade 4-6 and lead youth group of this age
7 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being told I was worthy and capable …what I was doing was needed in the church community..after really feeling a sense of brokenness.

Someone thanking me for being open and honest with then…real not over washing

I had a dream I was talking to Jesus. Or rather Jesus was talking to me. He told me to teach the children. I have been doing that now for 34 years.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Going through a divorce and all that goes with that has shaped me a good bit and has given me compaction on those going through the same thing. Especially in the church.

Having a gay child helped me to see a differant side of things. It wasnt all pretty at first

Being told my husband wasnt aloud to do anything in the church because I’m divorced and he married me. And I was chastised by some of the women there.
I have learned that we dont need to be in that church

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would open up my own store that sells healthy soups and sandwiches and my skin care products and teach others about nutrition

4. Using the money I earn to help the hungry. Also as I started making money feed those who need it for free

5. I would live in a good community so my family and friends would feel more comfortable. And own my own home so I could have more people over
