Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I was saved at age 33. I wasnt a real bad person, I was simply lost without Christ!
I have served as Deacon and teacher in one church, Maple Grove Baptist in Trumann AR for 24 years.
I also serve the Trumann Fire Dept as Chaplain the last 3 years
I have served in the childrens AWANA Ministry for the last 20 years.
I have been blessed to serve under pastors who trusted me to lead and serve rightly.
A supportive family, who always encouraged me to serve Christ.
When I felt God leading me into ministry, I never felt the call to Pastor. One day before a city parade my grandson wanted go watch. We drove by the fire station to get our place to watch. When I went by the station, I felt the draw to the families getting ready to ride on the fire trucks. It had been 13 years since I had been back to the station where I had served. I had worked with the Chief and knew him well. When I asked if my Grandson could ride on the trucks in the parade, he said, he can if you will. Well, I did and thats where I got the call into the Chaplaincy. It was as real as if God spoke to me.
My father was an alcoholic. He was a decent man, but was an absent Father.
When I was 23 I inherited a failing tire business. I worked day and night trying to make it work. After 10 years the bills were much more than the income, and I had to closed the business.
