My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Heard the gospel when I was 10 & confessed my sin to Christ & asked Him into my heart. Recommited my life to him at age 21 & have followed Him for 30 years since.

Womens retreat team for several years, 3 years

discipleship for college women for a couple years, RA at college for 2 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Attended christian university to study the bible & learn about ministering & serving others

Going through emotional & spiritual struggles has made me compassionate about other suffering & given me a passion to help them through it.

Older women who poured their life into mine, helping me grow, encouraging me, cheering me on & speaking truth into my life.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Abuse & neglect in childhood

Walking away from God for 5 years, makes my heart sensitive to others who do it, or those who don’t know Him at all. I want to help them know how much He loves them & how great His mercy & grace is.

Struggling with healthy issues (connected to emotional issues), and having to persevere and trust God & keep following Him.
