S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Nancy Anderson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. Serving others in my home. I enjoy all the preparation.
2. Helping others feel welcomed and accepted.
3. Sharing Christ with family and friends and encouraging them to read the Bible. And to trust the Lord.
I enjoy working with women the most. Any age group.
I have a concern for the new member, new believer and new attendee that they would feel welcomed and a part of the church family. Helping them get plugged in and get involved in serving and small groups.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I was 16 and reading Bible on my own and the Lord revealed His love for me through His word. Before that I did not have Christ in my life after that my life has been filled with His presence. Made a commitment to Christ a few months later at a friend’s church.
Hill Country Bible Church Austin TX, children’s ministry in the nursery about 6-12 months
Victory Temple Austin TX, children’s ministry, teacher, about 3 years, greeter
Catholic Charities of Austin, mentored single mom’s, about 6 months
Being a single mom was not a positive experience but it was the pivotal point in my life that drew me closer to the Lord and helped me have a more intimate relationship with Christ. The growth I had from that was positive.
Going back college at 26. Only the Lord knew that I would be a single mom shortly after Whitney turned one. I was very blessed to not have experienced difficult struggles as many single mom’s do.
