It takes people to make an organization (church) to function properly. The church needs people to serve. I have been in management for of coal companies for 46 years. I understand goals, change, and acceptance by people in order to have successful outcomes. It takes people who are willing to follow with enthusiasm for Jesus to make a church successful.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
Raise Catholic. As Catholic, works was the thing. Met my wife who was a christian. Attended Christian churches regularly, but not totally involved. Our 3rd child came as triplets very early during pregnancy. They were born about 28 weeks with complications. The healthiest died due to doctor error and the other 2 were critical. It was either turn to God or away from him. I (we) chose God. After 6 months we finally got to go home as a family. God was only testing us. Then company I was working was in financial issues had to find a new job and we had to move too Corbin. Then another pregnancy, more complications upon delivery followed by a house fire, and financial crisis from medical bills. We survived and God blessed us beyond reason. God further told us to financially support a family adoption for a couple who was unable to have children which was insane from a practical and logical perspective. So we use the minimal college fund we had and let God handle the situation. He blessed us beyond reason and we were able to get our 5 children through college debt free. He has continued to bless us both financially and health wise.
First Christian Church; Paintsville, KY. Taught Sunday school for the youth and worked with the youth. Took them on retreats and trips.
First Christian Church; Corbin, KY. Taught Youth Sunday School and too the youth to concerts, outing, and trips.
Central Baptist Church; Corbin, KY. Worked with the special needs (handicapped) Sunday School Class for 4 years. Picked up some of the group from Corbin Manor and brought them to church and Sunday school. Taught high school youth for about 20 years. Went on most mission trips and outings with the youth. had numerous events our house over the years. Drove the church bus to most events. Also headed up the Noahs’s Ark Party (Halloween Alternative) at Central Baptist church for about 17 years. Also served on numerous committees and chaired the finance and long range planning committee. Was a deacon and chair of the deacons for a least one term.
Death of one of our children due a doctors error and the mircles in the survival of the other two (triplets).
How God responded from obeying Him when we gave money to allow a couple to adopt a child. Made no logical out practical sense at the time, but God blessed us beyond anything ever expected.
The call to the ministry for 3 of our sons. The first was totally unexpected. I was unable to go on this particular youth mission trip due to my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Will and Josh flew to the location of the wedding anniversary and didn’t even tell us Will was called to the ministry. We heard from other youth on the mission trip and we went over all the people anticipated. We were floored Will was called to the ministry as it was totally unexpected. God works in mysterious ways. James and Russell were anticipated.
Death of our son. It was very difficult. I prayed and God answer in the opposite of what I prayed. It was very difficult having to be at the hospital by myself watching my son die being unable to do anything except pray. It was a long 8 to 10 hours. There were positives as stated above.
Central Baptist Church Split. Saw Christians at their worst on both sides. Saw the Pastor use my son to obtain information that was suppose to be confidential. He used the information to get back at individuals in the church. The individuals came through fine, repented, and apologized to my son. The pastor never did. My eldest son now does not believe in God. We continue to pray. As I said the other individuals have apologized to my son.
The way members of a church refused other churches and civic organizations use items the church owed that would have been beneficial for thier events and growth. Showed selfishness. We not in competition for numbers, but for winning lost souls.
