My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Called at 10yrs old. Became a wayward adult. God saved me from myself at 57yrs old. He filled me with the Holy Spirit,gave me a super natural hunger for His Word, and s passion for my brother’s and sisters to know him, also. I’m now 60yrs old, disabled and he is using me to encourage and help others, for his Will. Thank You Father for counting me worthy.

St Joseph Catholic Church, Zwolle, LA
In mid 1970’s Youth leader, Catechism teacher

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Marriage in 1975 which brought about three children.

Moving from hometown to an area of diverse people from various social and economic backgrounds.

Moving back home finding my Home Church where God has shown His Love and mercy for me so greatly that it’s beyond explaination!

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce after 12 yrs.. Three children at time 4,7,10
I am an advocate for counseling before divorce can be given. Preferably Christian

18 year old nephew committed suicide (no drugs, no alcohol, honor student, Dean’s list)

Real Estate Market Crashed 1st quarter of 2007 in the “North Georgia Boom ” area where I lived/ worked at the time.
