Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I gave my heart to my Lord and Savior when I was 9 years old on Mother’s Day. I didn’t fully understand the impact of my actions; I just knew that Jesus loved me so much that He suffered for me on the cross so that I might live an abundant life on earth loving and serving others. Over the years I have grown deeper in my faith and God has stood by my side though undeserving and through His grace and mercy I have tried to be an instrument used to Glorify His name.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Church Of God: (6 summers)Youth Camp Pool Director -Ohio Retreat Center – Columbus, Ohio
Canton Baptist Temple: (3 summers) Camp Chof -Aquatic Directer

Middle School Teacher (29 years): Even though this was my paid profession, I went to work every day as if it was my ministry! God called me to be a teacher! I would pray over students’ papers and desks that were troubled or having trouble at home. I would take time to talk with parents and build relationships with them to help teens work out problems they were facing in school and at home. Many times I would talk to teens and preteens about God and having a personal relationship with Him. These were some of the greatest moments of my teaching career. These moments took place outside of the church walls.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Teaching Middle School for nearly 30 years

Studying the bible! The inspired word of God! The people that God has brought in my life that have inspired and impressed upon the importance of seeking God through the scriptures!

Missions trips during my college years / My mother making sure I was in church at a very early age which lead me to become involved in active youth group!

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up in an abusive home with alcoholic father.

suffering sexual abuse at a young age
