Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in church and due to a false conversion based on circumstances, I soon lost faith and trust in the church and the people of God. That distrust led to hatred and bitterness towards God’s church (Christians). I got involved in drugs, women, alcohol, pornography, everything. I wanted to play an active role in damaging the church, hurting it’s people, and uprooting the hypocrisy I saw there. But God protected me and directed my steps. Eventually He wore me down and I came to faith in Christ. Now, for 15 years, I have been running from God’s call and excusing myself from a life dedicated to serving Him. Recently God has intervened in my life in a massive way and has brought me to a place where I was broken down, hopeless, and without any options except to submit, obey and follow Him.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I volunteer at my local church in the areas of media, general tasks around the church, and wherever else I can help out.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

God showing up when we needed it the most.

God giving me my wife and 3 children.

Most recently, God speaking to me in a mighty and miraculous way, climaxing in Him visiting me in a dream. Now, I must move!

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My evil heart: wishing harm and failure upon the church; the drugs, alcohol, etc; my many errors. I wish to help other young people avoid the life of regret, guilt, shame and despair to which I struggle not to be enslaved to.

Nearly destroying my marriage through selfishness, anger, bitterness and pornography.

Complacency in Christ and running from God’s call; as well as trying to excuse myself from the purpose He has made me for. It has had huge negative impact on every aspect of my life – physical, marital, relational, spiritual, emotional, and mental. I want to help people out of this same struggle, to help them avoid such a life, and to inspire them to pick up their cross and get going after Jesus with everything they can muster!!

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To publicly help and inspire youth/young people avoid the mistakes I’ve made and to find ‘life to the full’ in Jesus Christ.

4. To help and counsel fellow believers and non-believers alike with issues in marriage, family, parenting, and daily life, using biblical truths and principles.

5. To reach out to and inspire as many believers to quit living mediocre lives (spiritual complacency and laziness), to realize who God truly is, and to step out in faith and experience God’s power and victory over their ‘old self’ (daily struggles/issues) every day. To inspire them to find their true purpose in God, through Jesus, and to run after him with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.
