Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church and my family knew Jesus on a basic level. Then we started going to a different church and my relationship and curiosity about Jesus started growing. I eventually truly gave my life to Jesus and was baptized. I have now switched churches again and am experiencing a transformation in my walk with Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Served on the youth worship team for about two and a half years. Served in Children’s ministry for a few years (unsure of how many). (Catalyst Church, Bentonville Arkansas)

Interned for the Beautiful Girls Retreat team (1 yr., Rogers, Arkansas) Helped with event planning, was in charge of specific pieces coming together for a retreat, and spoke at the retreat (short devotional in front of attendees).

Volunteered at First Baptist Bentonville (Arkansas) for Vacation Bible School (as a group leader) for three years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

A woman prayed over me at the Beautiful Girls Retreat, told me God had big plans for my life, and said that she would see me on that stage one day. Two years later I was speaking on the same stage. I prayed I would see the woman again and at the retreat I spoke at, I saw her again! God has a way of taking things full circle, and of course showing up in big ways.

Speaking at BGR- ignited confidence in me and helped me realize I really can do big things for God and His kingdom.

Walking through “The Journey” course with 11 of my closest friends and discovering who I am in Christ and the beauty of Him.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Struggling with hard anxiety for 6 months in Jr. High. It was rough, and sometimes I still struggle with anxiety, but it has helped me be more compassionate with those who struggle with mental health.

Jealousy of close friends. It was something I had to conquer every single day. It helped me to realize my blessings and the gifts I have in Christ. It heightened my confidence and ability to celebrate with those around me.

Getting in the wrong crowd. This had a lot to do with the anxiety I went through, but this helped me discover the importance of the people you surround yourself with and how much of an influence they can be. It strengthened me (after it broke me).

Wrapping It Up

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Travel and experience the fullness of God’s creation.

4. Be physically and mentally healthy so I can be better equipped to serve the Kingdom of God.
