#1 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I think often about how i want to see growth in, the christians i am close with, our corporate church body, and unbelievers who i have relatinship with.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe this goes hand in hand with prophecy. Because i know Jesus and His heart for me, i feel compelled and consumed with sharing this with others. Im not sure how you could know Jesus and not want to push and ecnourage others towards this. I see pupose and a future in everyone, we all need help from others to see this and move towards it.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Bingo baby! Hearing from God, what he is saying about othesr and current situations and delivering this to them. Staying in a constant state of communion and communication with the Lord, is key to hearing His heart. Paul said to earnestly seek the spiriual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. How could we not all desire this gift?

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love descipling the believers I know. At work im often sharing biblical truth and the heart of God with our employees, challenging them in their walk with God and weak spots in life. Encouraging them in pursuing Jesus and living a life that gives HIm what He paid for.

2. I love worshiping the Lord privatley and in a corporate setting. I think often about creating a culture of worship in our church, seeking the Lord for His plans and desires in that area.

3. Fellowship. I am very aware of my need for relationship. Im passionate about creating a culture where that is emphasized in believers.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

The church, all ages.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Corporate services, including worship excite me the most. Also small group settings. Some things i think about in our church that concern me, is areas where there is a disconnect between the leadership and people following them who are in positions of serving. Lack of intentionality, not from leadership, but within the body, particularly in handling issues with other believers, or calling people to a higher lifestlye. Issues with compromising towards a sinful lifestlye, which i have seen developing in our young adult crowd. Im concerned about the push towards excellence in our worship beginning to overide a heart that is abanoded for God, no matter how messy or unorganized it may look.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in a strong christian household, being taught about the bible and God from a young age. God truly became real to me, and i develoed a personal relationship with Him through worship when i was in middle school. I encountered the Lord in ways that have markd me, and are the reason im still walking with Him today.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Freedom House, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Youth Pastor for one year.
Executive Leadership Committe for six months at the same church. This was a group of 5 men who made decison for our church.
Served in a small church plant in California. Here i served in evvery area, including teaching, preaching, outreach, and youth ministry.
I served in an alternative school program, working with students who were near to being expelled. We taught the very indirectly about who God said they were, though various means. This led to us being a part of a weekly bible study with these students outside of their school setting.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The heider baker film “Compelled by Love” impacted me greaty. Seeing an examply of someone is truly sold out for Jesus changed my life and led to an ecounter with the Lord that cotinues to affect me today.

Meeting fathers and mothers who have walked me through any things in life, such as walking out of an addiction to pornography, walking me ministry struggles during our time in Ohio, and offering encouragent during hard times.

My tim at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. The culture that Bill and Kris taught and created is one that has deeply impacted me to this day. They taught us to constantly be living and thinkling like influential leaders.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up at New Covenant i felt very juged and often condemned for the way i dressed, the music i listened to, and in most ways where i differed from the typical southern culture. I was often the butt of the joke during youth group from leaders directly. I was made fun of from the pulpit for having long hair and wearing skinny jeans. This is something that i experienced in a regular way, most of my friens who were “like me” growing up did as well. Unforutnaley many of them I now know to be atheist and have written off God entirely. That led to much bitternes in my hear towards this region, churches in this area, and our church. The Lord has drastically shifted the way i view and feel about all of that. Although i still believe my expereince to be real and very common, i know have a heart that longs to see reconciliation for both sides. I want to see the ones who were hurt, meet Jesus, because He has never hurt them. I want to see the ones who have hurt others meet Jesus as well because He has never hurt anyone. Something is missing in both of their lives, and i want to see that change.

Our church in Ohio was a train wreck. Our pastor was dying from obesisty and major health issues because of it. He had created a toxic culture of blaming all of these issues on the devil. This led to a church who corpratley and individually, did the same thing. Our pastor eventually had a stroke, and during this time the apostle over him was battling cancer. So we had no leadership in our church for nearly a year. At this time Andrea and I were leading a youth group of about 10 kids. I learned in this season how to lean into Jesus to be my sustining source. We had no one to give us vision, ecnouragment, instrucion. He truly became everything for us during that season.

I was addicted to porn for about 6 years. It became very severe and was kept secret from everyone i knew the entire time. I knew it was wrong and hated it, but i couldnt get free. I dealt with immense shame and guilt, but i couldnt turn that into the ability to quit. Having walked out of that and into freedom, i feel greatly equiped and called to lead others out of this.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would be on staff at church, giving my best energy and the bulk of my time towards our growth. I often feel discouraged about the energy and time i have to devote to our church is whats left over after ive workd 40 hours a week somewhere that doesnt hold my heart. Im not entirely sure what that would look like. Latley the Lord has been speaking to me a lot about worship on a corporate level. I would love to be part of creating a culture of worshipers, beyond whats happening on sunday morning for half an hour. I would love to be in a postion of being “Worship Pastor” and being able to create unity an foster vision for our church.

4. I would adopt a child from china tomorrow.

5. I would love to consult with Local businesses to promote their growth and excellence.
