Thank you Noah Day for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Serving is the at the core of who our Creator and Savior is. I can’t help but to serve others out of a response of who God is and how he serves us every single moment.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God’s word is absolutely amazing and worthy of our total submission. Without God’s word, we cannot live lives bearing fruit to the Lord, but practicing it (in context) we can grow in our relationship and understanding of who God is.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Other people. All other people. That’s where God wants to go. If it weren’t for Evangelism I wouldn’t be here. I can’t help but desire for others to know Him, to experience who He is.
[H]eart
1. Music. What an amazing tool to express truth and experience.
2. The outdoors (mountains, skiing, fishing, sports). I looove getting out into those things, they really are huge for me.
3. Friends. Helping people I love to grow and experience truth is awesome!
I’m not sure. I love college aged kids like myself, but I think I really love high schoolers. Particularly juniors and seniors.
Putting Christ at the center of everything is my biggest concern. Maybe thats a broad concern, but I believe loving Him and honoring Him is everything!

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I always wanted to know God, but never could understand it or get it. When high school came around I wanted acceptance and turned to lying, alcohol, and drugs to achieve those things. I realized my life was a mess and that I needed a savior. I accepted Christ my freshman year of college after spending a while trying to earn God’s love and grace, God opened my eyes to the grace that He already had for me.
Sewanee: University of the South. CRU (campus ministry). Fall 2016- Spring 2018. I am currently a leader on the core, and serve as worship leader with 2 other members.
I have worked at New Beginnings Church in Monteagle, Tn as the slides runner. I have worked there for a little over a year I’d say, but more sporadically.
My relationship with Ryan Tillman, and William Merriman. Both good friends and brothers of mine, both have been huge pillars for my life in terms of helping me to grow and follow Christ.
My relationship to Paul Hilliard and Ryan Geist, both come up to Sewanee from Chattanooga, TN. They disciple us core members weekly, and have encouraged and challenged me for two years.
I went on a Spring Break trip with CRU my sophomore year of college and I was able to see what it looks like for Christians to live together, truly amazing experience and one that has made a huge impact.
Being totally buried by drugs, and alcohol, while desiring to get out of those things as well. Those things really hurt my life, but after getting out of them I am able to help others in those situations know that there is something so much bigger for us to be filled on.
Being in situations where I know I want to speak up and live for God boldly, but being held by fear and doubt from doing so. I realized how weak I am, yet have gotten stronger in the love of God and in His strength in my life.
Experiences with struggling family members and friends. These things have hurt, but have allowed for me to rely on God more and to trust in Him and know Him more.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. 1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Getting a Christ movement going on college campuses. Helping students to hear and experience the Gospel.
4. To start a business (seafood market preferably) totally for God’s own glory in which the world may see His love for His people and His world.
