S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Deb Mantik for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian home and became a Christian at age 4 praying with my Mom and redicated my life to the Lord when I was older. I was baptized at 29.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Teaching in Sunday School at First Alliance Church, Ladies Bible study executive at First Alliance Church, Camp Chamisall counselor, Camp Chamisall kitchen helper, Making meals ministry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having children and teaching them about God. Seeing them grow in their faith.

A Mom who prays for me and encourages me and a Sister-in-law who greatly encourages me in my faith.

Joining together as family to pray together for each other and others. Having Godly women come alongside me and pray for me and my family.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Losing my Father to cancer at age 17 but seeing him grow in faith even through his sickness.

When my children fell away from God it drew me to my knees in prayer and to know God in a deeper way and increase my faith. Seeing them return to following God inspires me to pray for others who have walked away from God.

Seeing a loved one caught in addiction tore my heart up but also helped me see that none of us are above falling into the destruction that sin brings.
