S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Deborah Jennings for taking the SHAPE Assessment. Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Through church youth weekend away

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Church Planting Leadership team, St Albans Vineyard

Head of Prayer Ministry – Life Church, Cuffley

Worship leader – Life Church, Cuffley & St Barnabas North Finchley

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Driving a lorry of aid to Bosnia during the Bosnia, Serbia & Croatia war at 20. So many miracles and healings

Living under Grace – freedom in taking a heart journey and learning and experiencing grace for the first time and constantly blowing out old perceptions about what grace really looks like in so many circumstances

Being part of an inspirational group of friends who encouraged me to dream big and run with

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being in an abusive relationship – Passion for helping people to find themselves again

Divorce – I have a heart for seeing people supported and restored particularly going through or having gone through a divorce

Being kicked out of a church – made me lay all my hopes and dreams down. To hold positions in the church lightly and not to have my identity in things I do rather being content in who I am. To not needing to know the main leaders and being happy in drawing people in on the edges.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To run retreats for people who have ‘lost’ themselves

4. Find a group of inspiring people who I can run with, dream big dreams with and encourage in my Christian walk

5. Run a HTB ‘Restored Lives’ course for separated, divorcing and divorced people in Norwich
