Thank you Dixie Kuntz for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

5th grade at a revival service

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Played piano for church full time for 8 years, part time for 7 more, none the last 3 years-Union Chapel~Hedrick, IA…Lancaster Christian Church~Sigourney, IA

Directed Bible School @ Lancaster Christian Church~Sigourney, IA

Served in the Board 3 years with 1 year as the Secretary to keep minutes of the meeting ~Lancaster Christian Church ~Sigourney, IA

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

A discussion with my best friend’s mom about abortion helped solidify my belief already that it is not ok no matter what stage.

My mom praying for me & my dad instilling work ethic from a young age.

My mother in law’s Christian counsel throughout the years of our marriage.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Mom & Dad’s divorce when I was 7…..but they always made sure we knew they loved us and we did nothing wrong.

Being thrust into playing piano by 2 petty ladies who refused to do it any longer because of some slight they were not happy about with the church. Had nothing to do with me, but they heard I used to play piano so they nominated me. Taught me perseverance because those early years were embarrassing & ugly but I didn’t give up & actually began to enjoy it.

Illness in our family that necessitated changing everything we had ever known, selling most of our equipment & horses, & moving from farm to town….I leaned on God, there was nothing else I could do. Strengthened my resolve to find answers to the health issues which God answered that in a very unexpected way, but He has called me to share with others who may be afflicted also.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Help others feel their absolute best & help their finances with it.

4. Encourage others going through tough times.

5. Help our family financially enough that we can freely give to ministry with time and money.
