S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jean Ng for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I desire to connect with people, understand their background and build friendships with them so I can share my testimony. I believe personal stories help people relate to God better.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I can transform complex concepts into simpler ways of understanding… in layman’s terms. This is evident when I teach English but can’t say the same for Bible teaching (no experience).
[H]eart
1. Creativity: Creating anything makes me come alive…particularly in the arts like painting, drawing, dancing, crafts, some acting, etc.
2. Community: I love bringing people together through fun and engaging activities & enjoy being part of a connected community.
3. Culture: Learning about different cultures and their way of life is fascinating…especially through immersion.
Children of all ages and cultures
What concerns me the most is whether the entire truth of God’s Word is being preached accurately and whether the church is living it out.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
My grandma was a huge influence in my life because she raised me when I was younger. She often demonstrated Christ through her love and actions. I wanted to be a Christian and go to heaven because that’s where she was going so at 13 years old I told her I wanted Jesus in my life. She led me through the sinners prayer but it wasn’t til I was 16 that God became real. I felt like my relationship with Him started at 16.
Chapel worship in a Christian learning centre – 2019
Bethel Healing Rooms in Redding, California – 2017/2018
Worship team in Deep Waters International Church in Warrensburg, Missouri – 2012-2014
Earlier years in River of Life, Malaysia:
Ushering & hospitality team
Worship and prophetic dance team
Youth ministry
The many healing and breakthroughs I’ve experienced because of God…including healing my broken heart, revealing more of myself to me, restoring my relationship with mum, freeing me from fantasy, among others. I am truly FREE because of Jesus!
God always provided family for me in countries where I was alone and knew nobody….in Australia, Missouri (US), Mexico, and California (US). I learned that He is a God who never fails to provide.
I had an out-of-body experience when I was 16 years old where I felt my spirit leave my body and just rose up into the heavens. I didn’t see anything but felt it very strongly… like I was floating and light as a feather. I never experienced it again since then but it was the healing I needed after being sexually molested by a stranger. God showed me that He cared about what happened to me.
Childhood experiences in school which weren’t pleasant: I couldn’t connect & make friends easily because I was extremely sensitive, socially awkward and painfully shy.
My involvement with a married man. It was the most painful moment in my life but God turned it around and wooed me back to Him.
Struggles with performance, perfectionism and control… they had a hold on me for a long long time but God is freeing me from them.
