Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I grew up in a small Baptist church in rural Georgia. My parents both served in many areas of the church and I was very involved. I understood a need to something in my life, and walked the aisle and was baptized. My teenage years were rough and I often felt depressed and anxious about life. In college, I met a group of believers that showed me how a relationship with Christ would transform my life.
I turned from my sins and trusted in Christ as my Lord and Savior of my life.
Since then, I have grown in understanding the joy and purpose for my life as beloved by God.
Ministry Intern – RBC, 2015-present
Custodian – RBC, 2014-present
Seeing my father read Scripture early each morning gave me a great appreciation for the value of daily interact with the Word.
I met many Christians at my college campus ministry that showed me what radical love for the unloved looks like when it is founded on the love of Christ.
Getting married and having the opportunity to live as a testimony of the love of Christ for his people.
I have experienced much anxiety and depression over the years as I have attempted to find my self worth in the approval of other people.
I made poor choices in who to date in college which showed me what a bad relationship looked like and how even church girls can form an unhealthy relationship.
I worked at a Christian bookstore and got cursed at by pastors and their wives.
