[H]eart
1. Teach or train others and see the light bulb turn on when they go “ah ha, I get it”.
2. Building, developing and completing tasks and projects.
3. Serving others (food, chores, tasks, etc.) and seeing the smile on their face when they realize I care.
Both elders who recognize and truly appreciate my efforts as well as youth (6ish to 14ish) that are eager to learn and help.
Excite is connecting people through things they enjoy, but they never realized previously that they all enjoy the same things. Concerns me is most church members don’t really know what is in the Bible and how to interpret was the Bible says.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I grew up in the church as a Southern Baptist. I was always expected to sit on the pew next to my Grandparents. I loved how pleasant and peaceful my Grandmother was and I have always tried to follow her example. I had to get my teenage years and 20s out of me, before I really was drawn back to the church. As I interacted with more and more wonderful people in church, I remembered my desires to be a positive example and be an ethical person. I now try to me a lot more like Jesus and a lot less like me.
I grew up in the Southern Baptist Young Men’s programs, Crusaders, Pioneers and High School Baptist Young Men for 10 years at Corinth Baptist Church in North Carolina.
We served on the Offutt Air Force Base Chapel hospitality team in Omaha, Nebraska for 3 years.
Growing up around my Grandparents and witnessing their passion for Christ.
Growing up working along side my step father who taught me dedication, work ethic and ingrained in me the desire to help others.
Joining the Air Force.
Previous divorce.
Growing up in a broken home.
Failing at things I care about.
