Thank you Quati LeNay Woodberry-Gadson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. #1 Gift, Mercy Showing (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have witnessed and experienced situations where someone show a little mercy and it took that person an extremely long way. I know how difficult it can be for people to get back on their feet without someone and even something helping them do so.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (65%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Having a “cheerleader” or a supportive voice in your head can really influence people to “go the distance”. Personally, I had no sense of what I wanted to do with my life. However, when I spoke with my mother and she helped highlight my strengths and helped me hone in what I was good at, it made it easier and it gave me the push I needed.

#3 Gift, Serving (56%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have seen so much poverty, mal and mistreatment, and overall injustice go on in my committee and around the world that it has driven me to want to do something about it. I was inspired by the famous words “Be the change you want to see in the world” and I aspire to do that. I want to do for others what I know in my heart someone who was capable would do for me.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up with it in my household.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I was apart of the children/youth choir from age 10-19

I spoke for a fund raiser/youth explosion at my church

I was a praise dancer from age 12-19

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Going to banquets and watching my Grandma and my Aunt get recognized for their humanitarian actions within the church and community

Watching my mom lead the summer camp/vacation bible school programs for the church and community

Singing my first solo at church and receiving a standing ovation

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Witnessing the church mistreat and turn on my mother because of the new pastor’s distain for her because she knew him for who he REALLY was and he was intimidated by her knowledge of his shady past

Watching the non-profit organization my Grandma works 40+ years for be taken away from her, her coworkers, and the community due to low funding and shady people wanting to make other use for the facilities. This also left my Grandma and her fellow coworkers, as well as the community unemployed and with no resolution for the benefits in place for the people of Rural Mission

When I was bully all throughout my 7th grade school year
