Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

“Navigator” neighbors came to visit with my parents, gave opportunity to pray and accept Christ. I did. I was 14.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Vennard College, University Park, IA, Deputation team, 1 year. Sang Alto. Toured with college choir and women’s group one year.

Oskaloosa Naz since 1970 – board member, board secretary, treasurer, bookkeeper for a few months (in between bookkeepers), Adult SS Teacher maybe 30 yrs and present, Small group leader in women’s ministry years ago. Sang in a Mixed quartet 10 years, in New Life Singers young adult group – 5 yrs, church choir 30 years –

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

1) A music teacher in 11th grade who thought I had a good voice. 2) Singing in the Hope Street quartet – we did a few revivals within driving distance, in addition to regular ministry in the local church.

Attended Vennard College – got Assoc. Degree, but first two years concentrated on theology. (Ralph Sprunk was one of my professors).

Supportive Adults – every class I have taught.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I don’t wish to vocalize/rehearse them. It happens to some of the people in most churches, I’m sure.
