Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I grew up in church and I professed God at an early age following along with the other kids who had done so thinking I was doing the right thing. Upon maturing into a teenager I and realizing that I was not truly saved. I had just professed without real faith. Even though I knew much about God. I didn’t really have the relationship with Him that I needed. I had to believe on Him in Faith, not following others because it looked good to me as a young kid, because the other kids had done it. I did accept God into my heart during the summer I turned 15 years old. I knew my needs for a Savior, Father and Best Friend were deep and that I couldn’t walk through this world without Jesus Christ by my side. God filled my soul the day I asked Him into my heart and hasn’t left my side ever since. There is evidence in my life where he lead me, carried me (even when I screwed up), He mended my broken roads, worked out little details in my life, moved the mountains that looked impossible, has helped me become a better me, and countless other things I could go on about. My life is one great big blessing and nothing but proof that God ALWAYS works for our good and for His glory.

My parents loving me through my mistakes and having kept me in church most of my life.
God bringing me back to my current husband, and showing me how He has lead me through my life. Raymond also loved my oldest 2 boys so much that he chose to adopt them as his own.
Having people in my life specially my mother who have been cheerful, positive influences, and share joy. But also God placing other people in my life that have shown me how to have a backbone to stand up for myself, and or what is needed or right.
Having gone through Mental/Emotional and somewhat physical abuse from an ex-husband who was and still is a controlling, manipulative, compulsive liar, drug abuser, alcoholic who was bipolar with anger issues. He chose the things that consumed him over his children and me so we divorced and I have stayed away from him due to all these things. He tried abducting my oldest child from me twice and wouldn’t leave us alone. I had to get the courts to keep him away from us. He still uses other people to do his dirty work if he has to just to try and keep in touch or have his thumb over us some how. I learned from him very quickly in live experiences with this man what love wasn’t. It was rough coming from a situation where you believe you are not worth anything and having to relearn that you are worth so much and are loved. God can mend broken roads. He mended mine. There are so many things I came out of that situation learning, but I know I can help others watch out for signs to know when a relationship is bad, how to be strong enough to leave the relationship, and nurture yourself back through it with God and supportive people in your life.
Having been a military wife in my second marriage was very negative. My husband was hard to handle being negative, mad, and very distant (not just physically due to being overseas or on duty, but mentally). We sought counseling, and we both went through times of depression during his military career. It is not easy being away from family, away from each other, the children growing up during the nurturing years without their father, having to reintegrate Raymond back into the family after every hear long tour he went on. Nothing about the army was easy on our family. I hated how much we were apart and it took a tole on everyone. But, we made it through those years and upon getting out of the military, Raymond has been getting better at being a family leader, trying to be more positive, and opening up to communicate. I still have to drag some stuff out of him, but it isn’t as hard as it used to be. Our relationship gets better with each passing year and is a better father too. God has answered prayers in all the ways our family and marriage has worked and I am super grateful.
Looking back on my younger years, I was sexually abused several time as a child. Once it happened by a total stranger and several times by my older male cousins. It began when I was really young, in fact I didn’t find out till I was older that it was happening when I was in diapers, but my mother didn’t want to cause trouble in the family, so she kept it quiet. My brother disclosed that info to me on the Thanksgiving day that I decided enough was enough from my cousins when I saw one of them praying on their step sister. I stood for her and for all of my female cousins and let him know that he better not ever touch any of us ever again or I would make him wish he were never born. I came out to our family about the situation letting them know that this was intolerable and I wouldn’t let it keep going. From that point on, I had a burning desire to make sure anyone in my care would never be harmed in any kind of sexual manner. I didn’t want to let that even be a chance. The thought of it makes me physically sick and it breaks my heart for anyone who has gone through it. I understand how it messes with your mind, allows you to think that sexuality is a need to feel loved instead of something to guard and cherish. I have learned to safeguard others in my life from any thought of that happening. My children were my number one priority in protecting from sexual abuse. I know you can’t protect them from everything, but I knew it was my duty to do my best to make sure they were protected in every way I could, specially by talking to them and making sure they knew exactly what sexual abuse was and what to look out for. It was super important for them to know and understand. I also know that I can be here for anyone who has to deal with a similar situation and can guide them to God through it with understanding and sympathy. I did have to learn how to forgive people I would never hear an apology from. Forgiving them freed my mind and soul from everything thing that bound them with the ugly situation. I will never forget the feeling of that kind of forgiveness and not even wanting or feeling like I needed the apology. That is just a glimpse into the kind of unconditional love that God has for us.
