Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian-taught home, but did not grow up learning or knowing the relational piece of Christianity. It wasn’t until high school that He became REAL to me. I have been growing in my relationship with Christ ever since.

Synod Youth Ministries | Orange City, IA | interned for two summers and am now temporarily filling the Event Coordinator position

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Interning at Synod Youth Ministries

Being on volunteer staff at Synod Youth Ministries events

Studying abroad in England and studying in California for a semester. It was a very culture filled experience.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Going through break ups has taught me so much about myself and has given me so much advice to give to other people.

Going through peer pressure in college. It’s very hard to say no to partying at a big university such as Iowa State, so to go through that and realize it’s not life-fulfilling was very eye opening.

This past year I had three wrist surgeries which got in the way and eventually cancelled life plans I had made, but it turned out great because God had other plans for me; better plans than my original ones.
