S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Kendall for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Serving (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I like being in the background serving and getting things done rather than being in the spotlight.

#2 Gift, Giving (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It’s fun to be able to give something to someone that they either can’t get for themselves or don’t expect to get and to see the joy it brings them or how it might change their life.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love raising my kids and being with other kids. They’re little sponges and it’s really awesome to see them picking up new things that we’ve been working on and really processing new concepts and ideas.

2. Organization. It gives me great satisfaction to take an area that is really cluttered and badly organized and revamp it so it is better utilized and looks nicer.

3. Helping people. Regardless of how it looks and what it’s about, it just nice being able to do something for others.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Little kids. See above somewhere.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Concerns would be how many Christians don’t have good grasps of biblical concepts that are hugely impactful in the way we live our lives and how we represent Christ. Men’s and Women’s ministry opportunities and youth group programs are exciting.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
