My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was in church from the time I was born. I was brought up in one church with my grandparents, then when I was about 8 years old I began going with my other grandparents to the church that I have called home ever since. Growing up in church, I have always known who God is and what he has done and continues to do for me. I went through a lot in my teenage years within myself, then my parents both turned to drugs when I was 17 years old. Being the helper that I am, I put a lot of weight on my shoulders trying to save them and my younger sister. It really took a toll on me and I fell off my spiritual track. I have never stopped believing in God, however I did stop living for him for sure. Recently, my brother got back in church and that inspired me to get back as well. We are now in the core group of a new and coming church and we are super excited to grow and watch the church grow.

Covenant Fellowship youth group- Morrison, TN- assistant for a year.

Elohai Ministries- McMinnville, TN- worship team member for 2 months.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I am a walking miracle. God saved me before I was even named.

Watching my grandpa come to know Christ from alcoholism.

Seeing my mother change her life from active addiction to one of the most Godly women I know.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My parents going through active addiction.

My best friend dying from cancer.

My grandpa dying and asking me if I was coming with him.
