Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in a Catholic church knowing God, believing in Jesus, but being scared of not earning my way to heaven or Gods favor. I think it built a foundation though. I started going to church with a friend in my teenage years and remember feeling spiritually fed for the first time. I got baptized and really involved in youth group. I think there was some resentment from my mom about how my I was relating to this church and I was forced to go back to catholic church for awhile and fell away from everything in college. Probably about 10 years ago I started going back to church and really got involved and active (became a member, served regularly, etc)

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Worship Team
First Christian Church, Canton OH, 8 years

High School Ministry
First Christian Church, Canton OH, 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Remaining single for so long. It allowed me to buy my first house on my own, support myself, learn how to do things to take care of myself and my home. It is nice to know that I can do all those things and makes me appreciate having someone to share that load with even more now.

My friendships. I am not sure extroverted. It is hard for me to make good friends, so the relationships that I do have are just really rich and supportive

Al Anon

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up in a home with a parent with mental illness

Being in a cycle of really crappy abusive relationships with addicts

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. finding a job that I love to go to

4. singing and serving at church

5. find more time to do the things that fill me up
