[H]eart
1. Encourage people to live more fully into the life to which God calls them.
2. Study the bible with people, especially when they become disciples.
3. Celebrate life with people. For example, have wedding showers at my home.
Young women, ages 20s and 30s.
I am concerned about the consumerism attitude of so many young people at church. I want them to see that they are an essential part of a working body. I am excited about learning how to disciple people who will disciple others.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I grew up in a Christian family learning about the love of God and the sacrifice of Jesus at a young age. I made a decision to be baptized when I was 12. However, I feel that God drew me to him and called me to serve once I went to college and truly grasped a deeper understanding of my identity and purpose.
Campus Ministry at LSU – soul talk leader
Worked with a small group of young mothers my own age to create Kids Praise at church.
Currently discipling 8 young women in their 20s and 30s. Some are married, some with children, and some are single.
The Campus ministry and the amazing growth of the church in Baton Rouge opened my eyes to the joy of life as a Christian.
Marrying my husband was one of my best decisions. We have a lot in common, but we also complement each other’s differences.
My mother, a lady named Sam, and several others have shown me that hospitality and serving is such an important part of loving people.
Three month ago, my son died of Covid-19. He was only 35 years old and he left behind his wife and 3 little girls. I now have great compassion for people who are grieving.
Amazingly, breast cancer put all of life into perspective. It made me realize that “control” is not in my hands. I also let go of fear.
Watching my youngest son in an unhealthy relationship with a girl. He was truly blinded by “love” and anything we said only drove them together. All we could do was pray for him and ask God to work it all out. Thankfully, God did! He is not married to a wonderful woman. I have great compassion on parents as they watch their kids make mistakes and they feel powerless.
