Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
My brief testimony of how I became a Christian
I grew up going to Sunday school and church, so God was a natural part of my life, but I didn’t fully understand the weight of what God had done for me personally. As I started to grow up and meet people who didn’t know or believe God, I started doubting if God was real and if I was “good enough” to be a Christian. I would constantly place my worth in my achievements, behaviour, other people’s approval and my appearance, and that lead me to a place of hopelessness and fear of trusting others. But I remember, bringing these struggles and anxieties to God, crying out to Him in prayer to help me. At this point, I was a high-schooler, and I would go to youth group and learn about who God is and what it looked like to live for Him. I had a deep desire to know God and have a personal relationship with Him, and by reading the bible for myself, praying to God privately, watching sermons online and attending Christian conferences, I began to understand that Jesus had taken my brokenness and died on the cross to redeem me and accept me into His family. And so I decided to believe in Jesus, how he saved me from the brokenness within and around me. And now I try my best to honour Him in how I live, knowing that even though I still struggle, God is with me and through Christ I am free from needing to be accepted or prove my worth.
