I grew up in church and when i was young I heard my mom or people at church talking about being “reborn.” I was obsessed with babies so I started to question what it meant. My mom told me all about Jesus and how he saves us from sin and we must choose to accept his gift. All things I already knew but one night with my mom I prayed that the Holy Spirit would come live in my heart. I was baptized weeks later.

I learned about God and His only son Jesus from my Catholic mom. Ever since then, I have always talked to God about wanting to know more and about which church to go to. Then when I was 18 years old, I met my husband and he started taking me to a non denominational church. I was about 19 years old when I prayed to have Jesus be Lord of my life.

Becoming an teenage mom is a positive experience because it helped me to become humble, brave and to care for life by not getting an abortion.

My husband getting laid off in the middle of buying our first home in 2003. This experience gave us the opportunity to really rely on our faith on God’s provision which he granted. To this day, we have owned our home for over 15 years now.

In 2008, we experienced God’s miracle in our children’s life. They were in a car accident with my mom and my daughter almost died and we were told that my daughter was not going to be able to walk again. Today she walks, she runs, she plays all sorts of different musical instruments and she’s using her gift for worship. She’s actively in several worship team in our church.
