My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

The church I first started attending would release balloons every New Year’s with the church address. My mom found one and took us to church. I experienced God at the age of 15 and decided to give my heart and life to him. I understood that in the middle of all the chaos of my families life, he was with me and loved me. That was more than enough for me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

New Life Apostolic Tabernacle-Youth leader and young girls ministry organizer.

SCD Messengers of Peace-District secretary

Grace Tabernacle-Church secretary, youth coordinator, praise and worship leader, assistant treasurer, teacher, women’s ministry co-coordinator

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Had great leaders invest time to teach me how to lead with passion and invest in others

Seeing people get closer to God and develop a relationship through something I helped with

Learning to work with my husband as one when in ministry

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

People being so judgmental towards me based on man made rules

Being disconnected from the community you are supposed to be serving

Allowing my voice not to be heard

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second

3. To invest in my family and others

4. To go back and finish my Master’s Degree
