I became a Christian when I was in the eighth grade. My sister told me the Gospel of Jesus and I was filled with curiosity. I got my first bible and I read daily and took notes on what I was reading, I continued to do so to this day. It confessed that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior who died for my sins.
While I was in college I was having a tough time with my identity and through this tough time of not knowing who I was in Christ, I got to know Him and see/realize that my identity is in Him. With this new truth, I started living boldly and doing things in Spirit and Truth. Once I graduated from college, I came to Higher D, and in 2017 I got baptized. Today, I am continuing to grow in God’s word and living in truth.

I was raised Catholic. Became disillusioned with the church and left. But always kept the Lord in my heart. I finally came to miss the community of a church family.

[E]xperience

I attended church fairly regularly as a child. At the age of 11 my father past away. I spent two years feeling very lost and lonely. A friend invited me to church with her family and I found God’s love and acceptance. I accepted Christ when I was baptized at the age of 13.
