My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

A year and a half ago I started Jiu Jitsu and met my two best friends. After I had been there for a couple months we decided to do a Bible study with just the three of us. While I’ve been a Christian since I was young, I feel that it wasn’t until the last six months that I’ve actually connected with God. I don’t know if that would have happened had He not put the right people in my life.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

women of all ages. Ones that need that hope that only our Abba Father can give. Women who are suffering from decisions they have made or maybe past experiences.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I would love to see more women involved with corporate prayer in our church. Maybe even a prayer group to get together and intercede for our government, county, church, members of the church and the body of Christ.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

i’m a survivor of 20 yrs of domestic violence , homeless for a brief moment and losing my kids for that brief moment because i had no where to take them.

when my daughter revealed to me after she turned 18 that her father my ex husband had molested her from the time she was 3 years old until she was 12

watching my son with his addiction issues, in and out of jail.
