#1 Gift, Prophecy (96%)
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God uses my teaching and preaching to apply the principles of Scripture to people’s individual situations. I’ve often heard of how people felt someone had told me about their specific situation while I delivered God’s Word.
#2 Gift, Teaching (96%)
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’ve been blessed to break complex concepts down in terms that even children can understand. God allows me to see the complicated features of Scripture as plain pictures and He helps me to explain it in ways people are able to grasp.
#3 Gift, Administration (90%)
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’m not a natural administrator, at all! But I see how God leads me and shows me the way forward in projects and processes. It is only by God’s grace, but He has overridden my own disorder and taught me how to lead.
[H]eart
Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:
1. To see God’s people un-hampered by fear and unbelief. I want to see people walk in boldness and confidence that they can endure and stand tall in all situations through the strength given them by Christ.
2. To see people embrace and live the abundant life promised by Jesus.
3. Music, Music, Music…I love to sing, to lead God’s people in worship and to experience God lifted up during these moments.
Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:
I love to work with people 25-80
Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:
I want to see people able to stand tall, to search scripture for themselves, to wage spiritual warfare, to make sound and spiritually-based decisions. I want to see them experience the fullness of the life we have available to us in Christ!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
My brief testimony of how I became a Christian
God kept at it with me. I grew up in the Church but, over time, the love of god for me and His call and protection of me in ministry won me over.
Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):
Pastor, Woodbridge VA
Young Adult Director, Nashville, TN
Pastor, South Central Conference of SDA’s
List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:
My call to Woodbridge…God showed me that I have specific gifts and talents valuable to ministry in a specific context. (I was actually a decent Pastor)
My call to Ministry… God showed me that he had a call and purpose for my life as a whole.
My call to Marriage…God created someone uniquely designed just for me and the two of us are God’s tool to bless, mold and shape the other into the image of Christ by His Holy Spirit.
List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:
I wasn’t treated well as a child by the Church. While I was given opportunities to attend events and to be involved, I always felt like an outsider and second-class. My value was always tied to what I did.
My experiences of being the “sausage made” in pastoral ministry.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I would travel the world empowering people through speaking, presentations, music and conferences to passionately pursue God’s call on their lives.
