Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I gave my heart to Jesus when I was 11 at my home church in Iowa. While I always followed Jesus, I strayed in my youth. It was in my 30’s when I once again began to have a true relationship with Christ.

BSCC, 10 years attending, involved with Women’s Encounter on the Leadership Team over the last 4 years.

New Market United Methodist Church, 22 years, various functions

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

BSCC – gave me a purpose of helping other women connect to God

BSCC – nurtured my heart to serve others

BSCC – gave me confidence that I am enough

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was young, in children’s church and I remember how excited I was about God and how on fire I was. I remember standing in the hallways with Sue Suggs and I asked her what I had to do to be saved and she parlayed with me. I will remember that for the rest of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My Bestfriend is on of the biggest influences on me. She talks to me about God, all the time. When I’m in my lowest points, she reminds me of how big god is and how small the problem is. She has impacted my life in ways she’ll nevertheless understand but God knew what he was doing when he placed her in my life.

Getting involved in church was a impact on my life. At such a early age I was always excited to go to church and learn about God, and worship! Praise and worship has always been my favorite. Still to this day there are things I was taught in kids church that I carry with me today.

Church camp is another great impact on my life. For 3 summers I spent a few weeks at summer camp. We had service every night, and the friendships that I have made have lasted a life time. The things I learned have stuck with me. & the life long messages they taught us have helped shape me into the woman I am now.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My parents divorced at a young age. I seen a lot of things at 10. Selfishness. Depression. Pain. But also, I seen love, passion and selflessness. I took a bad situation and didn’t allow it to make me break down, instead this is where I learned that even when things are going wrong, someone else could have it worse and not matter what, always be there for someone even if you have no one.

2 of my Relationships have been tough. Being betrayed, cheated on, verbally abused. I have always been the one who gives until I can give no more even when someone isn’t deserving of what I give. & although I may fall, I do not break because I know the value within myself. I will not change who I am, I’m a lover of everyone.

I was raped at a young age. I was a virgin. I had some medical issues after that, that was thankfully something I didn’t have to live with the rest of my life. After that, some years had went on and that guy had a child with a rare disease and was told he will never have children that would survive and his child passed away after living her few short months in the hospital . In that moment I felt pain and grief for him because at one time I cared for this man. I reached out to him, I forgave him, & I sent my condolences to him and his wife. Though what he done to me was wrong, he payed for it, and if I had not forgave him I would have carried that around for the rest of me life.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
