[H]eart
Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:
1. I love helping people walk through difficult seasons. I enjoy being someone people can talk to but also enjoy guiding people back to God. I want everyone to achieve the full potential God has for them.
2. I love leading worship. I believe that it was during worship that God spoke to me about coming home again. In leading worship I want to help people go on a journey with God. A journey in which they find out more of who he is and who they are in him.
3. I am passionate about city care and matters of social justice. When I think about the different groups that are marginalized today, it breaks my heart. I love being a voice for the unheard.
Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:
I love working with women the most, whether they are young girls, youth or adults. I love working with people who have the same passion for social justice as me. I love working with other creative people.
Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:
The A21 movement is something that excites me because I love speaking on behalf of the oppressed and unheard. Issues such as ,homelessness, health, abuse and those involving marriage concern me the most. In church issues of spiritual maturity excite me the most. I want people to realize their full potential in God.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian
I grew up in a christian family. My parents taught us who Jesus was from a very young age. My whole family went to church together every Sunday. I did not accept Jesus into my heart until I was in my early teen years. I don’t remember when I accepted Jesus into my heart specifically. But I remember when I decided to follow him and that decision was made here at MyChurch Ottawa 4 years ago.
Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):
I have only ever served here at MyChurch Ottawa in the following teams;
Guest services
Kids
Connections
Worship
List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:
Graduating university was one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. My last year was the hardest year in terms of grades and motivation. I was on the verge of failing multiple classes and did not think l would graduate. It was truly by nothing but the grace of God that I graduated.
Participating in the A21 walk for freedom made a big impact on who I am today because it ignited a part of me that I did know existed. I was bold about sharing the message all over social media and I even organized an open mic fundraiser to spread awareness.
List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:
When I was 18 years old, my friend was murdered. This was one of the most tragic things I have experienced. I believe it was the turning point of my story with Jesus because it pushed to ask myself what the purpose of my life was.
I have now taken and failed my nursing board exam twice. This board exam is important to me because it will enable me to work as a nurse. Navigating through failure was one of the hardest things I have ever been through. However it has taught me that failure is not my identity. It has also pushed me to trust God more and surrender my future to him.
My first heartbreak was one experience I am very thankful for today. After years of navigating through it, it has made me more confident in who I am. It also taught me that I deserve the very best and that God is the only person I should be completely dependent on.
