My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

When my husband and I met in high school I had just separated from a group at my school involved in drugs and drinking. Bills lifestyle was different and I liked and needed that. After we began to date Bill bought me a Living Bible and we started to attend church at his home church. One Sunday I felt as though the pastor was talking directly to me and could see inside me to my deepest needs. Jesus was beginning a work in me. I invited him into my life and heart.

Meeting and being witnessed to and taught by my friend of 37 years Sharon Galbreath.

Being invited to Oak Grove BC by Debbi Neal and then sitting under her teaching and seeing how she not only teaches but walks a Godly life.

Meeting and doing life together with my husband and two sons. The pleasure and difficulties of being a wife and mother.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The death of my son Jacob to drug and alcohol addiction has given me a compassion and more curiosity for addictions of all kinds.

The death of my youngest sister, mother, and father to cancer. And, the diagnosis of malignant melanoma and surgery of my living sister. My husbands battle with multi infarct dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

My rape at age 16.
