and coaching an unwed mother from my church in Hawaii as she gave birth to her second child, it was very different being on the other side of the bed but still a wonderful miracle of life.

Being involved with a strong youth group and effective youth pastor during my middle/high school years

Having a Christian boyfriend turn husband for the past 15 years

Being involved with church Bible studies and MOPS for the past 10 or so years

Terrible struggles with depression and anxiety most of my adult life

Having a child almost die from heart and respiratory failure

I became a Christian at a VBS when I was a young girl, but really grew and developed my faith during middle/high school under a great youth pastor.

MOPS – Fortified Hills Baptist Church, Dallas, GA Co-Coordinator 1 year and Table Leader Coordinator 1 year

Pine Springs Camp, Pennsylvania, Camp Counselor – 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being involved with a strong youth group and effective youth pastor during my middle/high school years

Having a Christian boyfriend turn husband for the past 15 years

Being involved with church Bible studies and MOPS for the past 10 or so years

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Terrible struggles with depression and anxiety most of my adult life

Having a child almost die from heart and respiratory failure

Raising and struggling in some aspects with having a strong willed child (he’s only 5) 🙂 – gives me a passion for parenting and reading Biblical advice regarding parenting, also causes me to seek wise council from parents older than myself
