I have great people to look up to, and they prayed for me and looked out for me.

I’m able to be a blessing like the blessings I have received in my lifetime. It feels good to be a person that gives, it gives me life.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Just being kind to people and never passing judgement. It’s a different between speaking the truth and tearing a person down.

I’m a great communicator, we may not always agree, but if we agree to disagree the respect is still there at the end. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.

And just being available to come to the aid of people in vulnerable state.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up and made a decision for Christ at an early age, then ran away in complete rebellion in my teen years until my life was bleak and dark in my adult years. Prayed God would kill me or use me, but just end this wasteland of hurt and despair. He redeemed me miraculously with a new life and new purpose. I experienced Lordship, not just salvation.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Calvary Baptist, Alexandria, taught high school seniors for 7 years or so. Preached at the Woodworth campus.

Philadelphia Baptist; taught seniors in high school. Missions trip to Brazil. Tuesday night evangelism.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Havning a men’s Bible Study group every Thursday morning for many years in Alexandria.

When The Holy Spirit really started opening up the Bible…personal study and devotional time.

Being blessed with my business that allows me time for study, prayer, service, and influence and affluence for the Kingdom.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My best friend died in a car wreck at 16 years of age. My oldest adopted brother committed suicide the next year when I was 17. My other older adopted brother committed suicide when I was 20. My parents died in a car wreck when I turned 24. I learned the fleeting nature of life. The depths of despair and finding hope in spite of great tragedy.

I went through a divorce during my 10 years in San Francisco. It taught me the price we pay for decisions made in haste from selfish motives. It showed my how easy we can deceive ourselves and ulitimately revealed how far away from God I had ventured.

I used to smoke…cigarettes and pot. It seemed to have a deep hold of me, but through God’s grace, I was delivered pretty miraculously. It mainly happened through ‘making no provision for evil.’ And God led me out. There is hope even in the struggle.
