S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jodie Kurz for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I firmly believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the light. In addition, I have a complex testimony which I am happy to share with others to show them that God can and does perform healing and miracles to those who call on him.
#2 Gift, Serving (90%)
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
In the past I served on a worship team at a church and found that this really lifted me up. I miss this aspect since our move, but hope to find other ways to serve our Lord.
#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (75%)
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’m actually surprised by this. I’m naturally very shy. Perhaps it’s my willingness to share my testimony in hopes that God’s healing power is seen by others through my story.
[H]eart
Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:
1. I love to work with special needs students. I pray that each day God’s work is shown through the work of my hands.
2. I love music and I know that it is a gift that God has shared with us all. I love being surrounded by the beautiful sounds He gave us. In addition, I used to volunteer at a local Christian radio station. I loved being in the atmosphere of His work hearing his music and encouraging others through this ministry.
3. I love my family. I love spending time with my husband who has such a heart for our Lord. I love spending time with my parents and children and pray that my love for Jesus shines through to them in my words and actions.
Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:
I love to work with youth. Particularly teens. I enjoy their energy and hope to be a positive role model in their lives.
Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:
Helping out behind the scenes has always been my comfort zone. Anything the church needs from cleaning to filing to behind tech work. I did enjoy playing back up keyboards at a previous church.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
My brief testimony of how I became a Christian
I have know Jesus since a small child. During a brief period of time in my late teens through early 20’s I stepped away from the church due to a circumstance, but have never stopped believing that Jesus is the way. Within the past few years God called me out of a very deep pit, healed me and since then I have a renewed passion for pronouncing our Lord!
Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):
Oasis Christian Church, Redland, CA. Keyboard player on worship team.
List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:
The healing He has done in me.
My volunteer work at a local Christian radio station.
Friends who are strong in Christ and a husband who is so strong and encouraging to build us in the Word.
List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:
Past history of childhood/relationship abuse and date rape.
Past history of bipolar (which the Lord has miraculously healed me)!
Multiple marriages and the trauma that I put my children through (before I knew I was sick and then through periods of manic episodes).
