Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian home. It was at a family camp at the age of 14 that I realized I needed to stop relying on my parents’ faith and make it my own. So I went to the altar and accepted Jesus as MY personal savior at that time.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Outreach Coordinator, Northside Community Church, Newberg, Oregon, 2009 – 2012

Celebrate Recovery TEAM Leader, Northside Community Church, Newberg, Oregon, 2008 – 2019 (also lead groups at Coffee Creek Women’s Prison from 2012 – 2017)

Ordained Elder (pastor), Northside Community Church, Newberg, Oregon, 2014 – present. I’ve had various responsibilities within this role.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Leading recovery groups at Coffee Creek Prison. I have many stories of the ladies there speaking into my life, even though I was the one who was there to serve them.

Being in my grandkids’ lives. They are currently living with us, so I’ve had a lot of opportunities to speak into their lives, even though their parents are not currently following Jesus.

Being introduced to spirit-filled worship after moving to California for a season.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Going through a date rape situation at the age of 17

Developing a food addiction, but then being set free through Celebrate Recovery

Losing my job due to Covid in May of 2020.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Take some preaching classes and start doing more public speaking/preaching

4. Go on mission trips to different countries – at least one per year

5. Retire and spend a lot more time with my grandkids
