Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Went to church & Sunday school most of my life. I became a born again Christian in my late teens early 20’s. Was baptised with water &received the Holy Spirit the same night.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I went to Pentecostal, Church of God type churches. I have also attended non denominational churches in Ohio & MD. I use to have bible studies in my home but I didn’t feel that I was able to give my all. I was a single mom to 2 boys, I had a full time job, & no support system. My church family split up, each went back to their hometowns, others just left the church.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was able to get a good job with benefits.

I have 2 sons that I focused on. I did everything I could to give them a better childhood than what I had.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I came from a very poor family. My parents were divorced when I was very young. I had a brother who died when he was 2 because he ate rat poison when he was hungry. It looked like peanut butter.

I had a stepfather who could have been Cinderella’s stepmothers brother, lol.
He was very mean & cruel.

I did something as a child to get removed from my home, then ended up in a foster home that was worse than home. I never told anyone because I thought it was my fault because of what I had done to get away from home in the 1st place.
Along with This, my biological father was an alcoholic & attempted to do things & when I told my mother (they had started seeing each other after she & my stepfather divorced) she told me he would never do anything to hurt me. These experiences have caused me to trust very few people, & in turn I have gotten close to very few people. Those people that I am or have been close to, do not live near where I live or I have lost contact with.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would love to travel around helping people that needed help, then move on to the next place & do it somemore, but I would want someone to go with me.

4. I would love to be able to live on different cruise ships. I would want to meet people and be a blessing to them in whatever way I could. Maybe by being a good listener, a companion, a helper with whatever they might need.

5. I would love to have a born again companion to enjoy life with. Someone to go to church with, to go to yard sales, flea markets, to go help others do things.
